Pearl Farm ResortAre you searching for a holiday location somewhere in Philippines? Have you ever heard about the Pearl Farm Resort in Davao? The resort is located at one of the island in Samal. So how do we get there? Getting to Davao will not be a problem as a variety of domestic airlines offer direct flights to the city. From the airport or other places in Davao, head to Pearl Farm Marina in Lanang Davao Beach Club. This is where you will be boarding a boat to Samal Island, traveling for approximately 45 minutes. There are 4 trips to and from Pearl Farm daily. Although, I would recommend that you better book a hotel or airbnb like condominium in the city as travelling by boat in Pearl Farm has definite time. Our body also needs to recover from jet flag before jumping to the fresh sea water. And of course, don´t forget to book your holiday in advance before getting in Pearl Farm. Reservation is a must!   At the Marina, there is a cafe and a gift shop where you can wait for the boat sailing to the island. So how safe is the Pearl Farm Resort compare to other island? They have security and sea water patrol is 24/7 because most of the guest at the Resort are celebrities, socialites, politicians and a tourist like you who loves luxury holiday.   Prices of the room depends of your choices. I actually booked a Hilltop Room good for 4 guest. It was clean and air conditioned. There are also Villas good for 8 guest and Houses like Samal House and Mandaya House. The good thing in Pearl Farm Resort is, it is easy to go around the island because their is a golf cart and you can have a tour for free. The island has different kinds of swimmingpools aside of fresh sea waters. They also have children section which is good if you are travelling with your family. And there are lots of activities like sailing, diving to see turtles and boat paddle.     You must be wondering that, how can you possibly join a diving session when you are not good enough in swimming. Actually there are instructor who are going to guide you and help you, so you will never be drown under the water. I can´t even swim properly but I manage to get on the bottom of the sea because they have great divers who will make you feel secure. Before getting on diving, they will first make an orientation and talk more about the island. I actually made friends and we went as a group during the acvity. Filipino are social people. You will not feel reluctant because usually we will approach you and make you feel at home in our home country.  You will not be disappointed with their food at the restaurant. One of the best experience I had because the food is not only for local but they also have international choices which is good for foreigners who are not familiar of asian cuisine.  Compare to other resorts where it´s lively and has music bands. Pearl Farm is actually a quiet resort. It´s good if you want to stay away from the buzzling city life and wanted serenity. Or you can take a vacation together with your friends for a great bonding. It´s actually a good place for honeymoon 😍😍 After reading my blog, now you are considering to get a holiday in Pearl Farm. But what about the communication? Actually Philippines is a country with different kinds of language. Davañeos speaks Bisaya, one of the languages in the Philippines with different kinds of dialects. But we are actually fluent in English. Most of the instructions are in English. So, you don't have to worry about communication because we make impossible to be possible for you to feel welcome. |
